the only thing i anticipated....is the combat class at nite....

i wonder why, but work seems to have double up for the past 1 wk.....
we came back with more fire to fight and more adjustment to fit.

is it becos we are short-handed? is it becos we are incompetent? or is becos i dun have the mood to work.....BECOS IT IS MONDAY????

anyway......wat has to be done has to be done. i have to focus then.

got something from a fren today. hahaha, its the least i could have expected from him. hahaha...

"...all over the world....tonite...."

playing on the radio....
one of livingstone's fav old man singer.
Going to his concert coming June.
So i had better listen to more of his songs to make the concert tickets worth it..
hahaha~
Anyway, his songs are nice.... soothe, old, meaningful.
better than backstreet boys.....haha

now my room is 101% neater, spacious, unclattered, cleaner and so much more comfortable...
let me explain...
i come home to my room everynight to feel trapped.
trapped with a lot of boxes, dust and untidyness...
one fine night, i echoed to myself that I NEEDA DO SOMETHING!
thank god thank alah thank president....
livingstone hang on with me and we started the room cleaning at 9.30pm singapore sunday time.
it was efficient i must say.
we cleared most of the boxes, vacum and rearrange my stuff
the whole process ended at 12mn.
ta-da!!! im now in a comfortable and cosy zone....
=)

i threw away stuff i kept for at least 3 years...
shiok....
the feeling of throwing these things...though a bit sad....BUT....SHIOK! haha....
after all, some of the things are merely memories, and shld be kept in my brain...
everything also got memory, everything i also keep, gimme one whole block of HDB flat, also not enuf to store....
got to be open and keep selectively then....

we are not done yet, this weekend, im going to clear another side of my room.....
heh heh,
more things to throw.....

i forgot to include 1 very impt fav thing in nihon...

* Best toilet experience: SQ Lounge in Osaka airport!

haha, i had the toilet seat cleaned my buttock and air it dry instantly! hahaha....
can't help falling in love with a electronic toilet bowl...

The rest of the toilets i came across in nihon are those with spray nozzles, seat warmer,...only the one in osaka airport SQ lounge has a dryer...

ahahaha, thumbs up for japanese innovative thinking...

"neccessity is the mother of invention" huh.... =)

no more nihon-go

Tuesday, May 10, 2005

back to work, back to home, back to reality....haha

common question today "hey, U R BACK!, how's ur trip!?"....

heh heh....nihon trip was good, great, best. =)
some say im darker, some say im fairer, some say i lose weight....
omigod, i was only gone for 11 days.... =p

a summary for my personal nihon experience in this trip:

1) best view: Snowy Mt. Fuji from Kawaguchiko (the 5 lakes district)
2) best temple: kiyomizudera in kyoto ("Pure water temple")
3) fav street: world's busiest intersection-crossing traffic in shibuya, tokyo
4) fav shopping centre: Tokyo, 109 Shibuya 9 levels of women retail therapy!! (but too expensive)
5) best accomodation: Andon, Tokyo
6) fav street food: grilled beef cubes in satay sticks in takayama
7) best nite scene: from Roppongi's Mori Tower's 52nd floor
8) best dessert on the street: ice-cream crepes !!
9) best photo taking session: Harajuku
10) special encounter: a traditional shinto wedding in meji shrine at tokyo
11) best castle: Himeji Castle
12) most impressed customer service: having the sales promotor walked out for her counter passing us 2 neatly wrapped pudding, and with 2 packet of dry ice. All for just SGD6....
13) acheivement: climbed the 4km fushimi inari shrine in 2hrs

too much to list....but i am really impressed with their style of packaging.
neat, expensive packaging no matter how much u spent...no joke.
oh yes! and their extremely friendly gesture....they bow to those who sent them to the train station, until the train leaves the station completely.....

too much to describe.....wait for my pictures!! =)
