DustBIN's arrival
Today, we welcome another neighbour fren, a.k.a dustbin.
the menu is chicken baked rice.
...I fail myself.
the gravy was too little to give taste to the entire tray of rice.
I think i forgot that the receipe stated was for 1-2 adults.
and i had 4 adults today. so i upsize the quantity of the rice, but forgot to upsize the gravy....
arghhhhhhhhhhhh................
anyway.....i say it was a good try, i will do better next.
the wild mushroom, which is one of the ingredients i used.
the half-cooked rice and broccoli.
made the gravy, and pour it over the chicken rice.
sprinkle the cheese ontop. like creepy crawlers......eeeeeeek..
into my favourite oven...
Hmmm....i remember when i first shopped for this oven,
many pple asked me if i would need one?
even the salesman who sold me this unit say,
'i dun think u will use it wan la, u dun look like the kind that will cook.'
well...anyway.....
this is what comes out from the oven 20mins later.
it looks nice and smells good, but the rice at the bottom didnt get the gravy taste....too bad...sorry guys!
I forgot to tell them to come empty handed.
but they were nice pple, they bought us pastry and chocs!
now livingstone and i can hv a slice of swiss roll, with coffee for him and hot chocolate for me while we watch the late nite screening at home.
thank u guys!!! :) .... for being my lab rats, and still so encouraging.
when i master the baked rice recepie, u will be invited agn!!! haha...
