Western Chow

Thanks to Peter who brought us to this ulu kopitiam!
Now we have another tasty western food on our list. =)
menu

the menu comes in an A4 size paper, with british colony flavour, read the story of Western Chow as u wait for your food to be served.

Was given a number board to be placed on the table.

We ordered the chicken chop with mushroom sauce.

and there were two items abt it that i was impressed with:

1) the mushroom they use is not the button types.... it is those black dry ones! i like. =)

2) instead of coleslaw, they served french beans! something like wat jack's place served! i like. =)

the french beans, closeup!

mash potato with ham, another nice item.

the owner puts effort in the deco too, you can see antiques such as akira radio, vintage camera, lucky strike tray.....etc near the cashier counter....
