Peggy's Surprise b'day Party!
2 Nov 2007 (still alot of backlogs!)
Peggy's birthday had been planned for a while. U know how challenging it is when it comes to the end of the year? when almost all gd tactics are used, and we have to rack our brains again to accomplish yet another surprise attack!?
But, like i always emphasised, Many Heads are better than One! Our teamwork Mou-tak-deng ar!!
Kenny first told me that he can ask peggy's fren to help us! So, there goes the start of the whole conspiracy! We got her fren to call her up, and told her that she has a voucher to share with her at fish and Co. So, the date was fixed on the 2 Nov. And Kenny would bring her there,.....to meet US! hur hur hur...
And, to drop peggy's suspicious, i told her that im flying to bangkok on 2 Nov (she will be thinking that im leaving, and there will be no celebration that week!). And so, as expected, she believed me, and drop her guard against us.... heh heh heh..
On the nite itself, I went down to fish & Co. earlier, to book a seat of 10.
When all had arrived, we went out to ambush outside the restaurant. At a little corner, we had pple peeping for peggy, and a human wall to take cover:
And so...as the couple approached the restaurant, we were still hiding...
Fortunately, the restaurant was quite bz, and they were left unattended at the entrance....
Just as Peggy wanted to signal one of the waitress for a table of 3....
WE APPEARED with the cake and shouted "HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!"
haha.... look at her stunned & happy expression!
She said, 'how come u guys are here! Im meetin my frens for dinner....'
I cut her off, and said 'we are ur frensssss lor.... hahaha...'
She got the picture immediately and agree with us that this was a fabulous trick... haha...thanks to her husband!
We need to compliment our dear Felin! She baked these cupcakes by herself, and presented to Peggy as her b'day cake:
fabulously colorful aren't they!! and I had to mention that they tasted as good as they looked!
it's terrible when it so happened that we got a person to take a group picture for us, but his hand shaked, and we had a blurred image, so, i guess i had to do our own group foto.
Now, we prepared a few surprises for Peggy that nite....
We asked her to open the present, and she found a NOKIA bluetooth headset...
the story was, kenny had told us that she had wished for an APPLE FM remote. But I conspired with SX, and we pretended that SX had bought the wrong ear piece! SX and me ended up in somekind of argument, and the innocent Peggy tried to accept the fact, and told us it was ok, and she also don't mind the mistake.
haha.... the fun part was, kenny was shocked too. Only me and SX knew abt the conspiracy, and we got all of them having question marks on their brains, thinking that SX really bought the wrong item.... that was fun!
We left the restaurant after dinner, and shifted to Kallang KFC for drinks.
it was there, where we started to take out our ipods and realised that we had a few generations here.... =)
now, its time to reveal nothing but the truth..
the real present was hidden in the box of cupcakes for peggy to unveal.
VOILA!
she got herself the last surprise for the nite!
her wish is our command! and im sure she was happy with the 'ACTUAL' present.
of cos, the sad truth was, she had to surrender the NOKIA bluetooth headset, bcos it belonged to livingstone, haha....
