my heart almost dropped....!!
I was trying to power on my camera last nite,
when i noticed a slight tightness on the power button.
Im not sure if my index finger is causing the problem, since i had a plaster on.
Before this, I can easily push the button down.
Now, I had to use my fingernails to poke the button, then the lens will zoom out....
i was so sad....its a different kind of hwee-ling altogether...
For so many news i heard abt their cameras failing on them recently,
i thought i had also caught the virus.
So i called Sony centre, and asked for the repair charges.
"mdm, it will be $35 for the power button part, and $80 for labour. Estimate to take about 2 wks time....if u wan immediate, u have to go to tuas directly...."
my mind went totally blank!
2 wks without my beloved camera!!!
I can't swallow lor....
so i hung up the phone.
I got to do what an engineer got to do.
I use a sharp object to dig and dig....in the most gentle and feminine strength....
ta-da.....
now the power button feels like before.....
