This is the day which Budd and I anticipated for the past few mths.
The Shape Run 2007.
A womens' only run, with an option for 5km or 10km.
of cos for now, we opted for the 5km run. =)
no point pushing ourselves so hard when we are not prepared.
After we signup, we only practised together ONCE, yah, if u rem, it was the midnite when we jog at ECP with ah-dee too....
Last Friday, we had to go to Marina Square to collect our runner's bib, tee and the timing device. But, no, not the goodie bag yet. =)
holy shit! bloody long queue!
lucky it was budd next to me. And becos it was a long time since we met and chat, so, this long q gave us an opprtunity for some really quality time.
If you are an audience watching us, you might find us quite amusing,
we took our turns to speak, speak of our good times and complain of our bad times, there is no single second wit an awkward silence.... =) u shld noe what i meant.
u can say we are like 2 birds, chirping non-stop at each other. haha....
lunch was at cavana....with my gd old curry chicken rice set. yummilicious!
Now, we are ready for our morning run coming Sunday!

evening, SX asked the whole gin-gang out for dinner.
the few ladies (me included) arranged to meet him at cityhall before we proceed to the place i suggested, in his car.....
heh heh heh.....
wea do u think we'll be heading?
orchard? bugis? suntec?
erm....in case u don't noe, im pretty allergic to town on weekends and after-office hours.
I will try as much as possible to stay out of town.
i dislike the traffic jam, and the human jam.....
so, i suggested sunset grill.
I booked a table for 8, al-fresco dining.
and as we were cruising along ECP, this is wat we saw.....
doesn't it look like a person's eye??
anyway, it looks more like it was going to rain la.... =)
for the drivers fren, i kept emphasizing that they have to follow my directions on the sms to get to the place, otherwise, I have promised them that they will lost their way. hiak hiak hiak.....
that place is too ulu...
trust me, this place is really super ulu. if u go at nite, u might not dare to drive alone. =)
we all know he has something to announce to us...
Congratulations my shy fren! wedding bells ringing, ding ding dong dong.... =)
after grilling him how he proposed to HL, the house buying process, the everything-about-the-hush-hush-wedding-preparation, we had to feed our stomachs!
buffolo wings are their signature dish, so wat are we waiting for???
the interesting thing is, we can choose to order the wings in a stepping range of spicy levels.
we then ordered 1, 3, 5, half a dozen each.
quite nice! but its quite expensive.
i dont know what is he trying to do la.... =p
all of us ordered fish and chip, which i find it very nice.
the fish is thick, and juicy. i like.
except for peggy, who had bbq pork ribs.
was it the buffolo wings? we had this much of soft drink!!
9 of us, dining next to the run way, not bad not bad..... =)
