Curry Favour

What goes best with french loaf?
Nah.....besides butter, what else?

"My mom's Curry" - wahahahaha....

Ever since we all moved out, mom hasn't been cooking as often. But she promised us that whatever we want to eat, just tell her, and she will prepare for us. =)

In the context of our social life today, I guess this is the most we can ask for.
"I want to eat curry. Your curry." that was the task I gave my mom, heh heh... so, she spent the weekdays grinding and frying her own curry paste for us.
And you know wat, even my 5-yr old nephew tucked into the curry!! I am proud of him. haha...

Of cos we didnt add as much chili for him.

Dinner at Coris was usual with vege and fish....the healthier choice.

When we were young, mom cooked a lot of fish and soup for us. Almost every dinner, we hv a fish on the table. 1 whole big fish. And she will amazingly change the style of the fish she cooked everyday, from red sauce to black, to white... (a pity I dun have digital camera last time to record them down) . She will usually nag and nag for us to finish the fish. She will just eat a little bit of it and my dad will eat the fish head, the tail and suck the bones..... I am appreciative of their effort today, truly. Dad is the one who taught me how to eat my fish, and I enjoyed staring at him while he cleaned up the bones in pieces.

Today, I am sure their effort paid off, both my sister and me are still considered strong and healthy to date. I am gonna try and do the same to my own family in time to come, as much as I can. This is an example that I would very much like to follow. =)
We'll try.....
