Lunch at Royal Copenhagen Tea Lounge

Last Sunday, for the first time in many many mths, we decided to.... go ORCHARD ROAD.
heh heh...brave the crowds leh, this decision isn't easy to make. The sight of many heads among the underpass, the many cars on the roads, the pedestrains, the difficult-to-find carpark lots....wow...u can name it all!
So, bcos bbtara will be arriving soon, and I reckon that we will not have many more of such leisure time to ourselves alone, we better spend our quality time visiting some good places. =)

We were at Royal Copenhagen on the Sunday afternoon, abt 1pm. It was indeed a good timing, the malls weren't really crowded yet. I can still breeze thru the mooncake stalls at the Times Square without having to say 'excuse me' or shield my tummy... heh heh...

LOOK AT THE FRESHLY BAKED SCONES! YUMMY! I love scones, spread with butter and jam!! =)

And we managed to get a very good seat. Right at the end of the Tea Lounge, with the entire glass panel behind me, we can pple watch!

The Tea Lounge was an open concept one.

For the first time after 7 mths, I had my first dosage of caffeine, earl grey. =)
(Not a very gd choice, cos I couldn't sleep that nite....)
The tea comes in a pot for per person ($6.50), and is exclusivly imported by Royal Copenhagen.

Here comes our Copenhagen scones ($6.90). The chef's speciality! Fresly baked, served with butter, jam and whipped cream.

Spread it the way you like it!!! yummy!!

I had the Norwegian Fish & Chips ($16.90). Breaded & Fried to golden brown, served on their rye bread with their home made potato chips and mushy peas, complimented with the chef's remoulade sauce & lemon. Nice.

The serving looks small, but it served me and bbtara well!

Livingstone had the signature crispy oven roast chicken ($15.90).
Roasted juicy & tender, the half chicken is marinated in herbs & maple syrup, served with root vege (waiting time 15-20mins).
The chicken was indeed very flavourful and juicy! The baby potatoes were also very nice as it soaked up the flavours and the juiciness of the chicken.
