Our first Chidbirth Education Class
Since when pple need to be trained to be mothers and parents? haha....
Our mothers/parents of cos didnt go thru this? So, why did our generation bother?
Of cos there are pple who tell me 'shld attend' and some that said, 'no need to attend wan la'.
I would say it depends on individual, if u got time, why not? Being prepared is half (or rather 1/3) of the battle fought and won ya? haha...
Since I'll be giving birth in Mt Alvernia soon, we chose to take the course there. For six sessions, we paid $180.
The course will cover topics on nutrition, excercise, breathing, taking care of the newborn and breastfeeding...
The class was almost full that nite, with most of the husbands attending together with the wives.
Livingstone took time to go with me too. =)
So, for the next few saturdays, we'll be students.
Note: A surprise to me actually, though many pple argued abt the pros and cons of bird nest, the instructor of this course actually advocates on the eating of birdnest!!
