I remember reading the review of this place when I was pregnant, that they serve Haagan Daz ice-cream in their dessert line, then came Jess's information that they are having 1-for-1 now.
heh heh... dun wait anymore. wat better deals can there be?
So, I gather them, and instead of the usual monthly potluck, i suggested to eat out for the month. Also to rem that eddie is leaving us for another 4 months, and peggy is going back to work from her maternity leave.

babysitter for the day. The small eater fill up her tummy pretty fast, and to help her destress her tummy, she volunteer to help us babysit. how nice! muack! My babysitter used luxury bag wan hor haha...

it was pretty tough to get bbjade to face my camera, so got to make do with it... =p

we were there from 6.30pm to 10.30pm.
The food was acceptable, with the amt they charge, I dun expect a spread comparable to those like from "the line" (Shangri-La). The fresh oysters, lobsters, crab and sashimi did satisfy me though! The one thing i disliked was their service. As I called in to reserve the table of eight pretty early in the week, I thought of calling them agn to remind them that I needed a gd location where I can park two strollers. So as I spoked to them over the phone, I was stunned when the team leader told me that they have no reservations under my name for that nite.
U can imagine how frustrated I was! I scolded her and all she said was 'sorry, I make a reservation for u now'.
I couldn't imagine what it would be like had I not called again before I arrived. So, the service spoiled my appetite. Oh yes, that's not all.....
I rem I asked (many times), 'so this dinner is 1-for-1, any credit cards involve to enjoy the priviledge?' and the fellow say 'yes, 1-for-1, no need credit card.'
I was stupid to believe her!
so, eddie, without knowing the rules, paid using his amex card, and was only given 20% off!
lucky he hasn't signed.
Upon my enquiry, the sotong waiter gave me a blur look like 'huh, wat 1-for-1? 20% only"
I almost said 'WAH LAUUUUUUUUU"
but had to control myself. "can u get your team leader here?"
after which, we had to use 4 citibank credit cards to cover 8 of us. And on top of that, we had to wait for 20mins for them to cancel the previous bill and re-issue the new and correct bill.
hai....so, i conclude that the service sucks.
