Back to office.Received the PO from India....i.e, more work to do....But the price the coy receives sounds rewarding...this is a 1mil job.To prevent those pple from commenting how unprofessional our packing would be, this time we have to prove them wrong... well, hopefully we could...at the same time, i rx some not-so-good news from a good fren...a news that will affect her life.whatever it is, we are adults, we make our own decision, and we are definately responsible for the decision we make.Though I very much dun wish to see what might happen, but....it's a long road ahead, there's no reason why one shouldn't persue their own happiness....Happiness, how do we really measure this item?at different stages of our life, do we measure them differently?when i was in pri sch, happiness is when i can buy a cone of ice-cream from the ah pei outside the sch compound after class, ... can happiness in life be any simpler then this?

Benny once told me that gym has too much free radicals, and anyone who frequent the gym will have a danger of contracting cancer. heh heh, so every afternoon we will eat anti-oxidant fruits, like KIWI to prevent reality from happening...afterall prevention is the best medication.... =)
I suppose I am highly in danger tonite. I must have been in a rm with billions of free radicals! Free radicals are release and produce when one gets too hyper, too active, too agitated, studies have shown that Endurance exercise can increase oxygen utilization from 10 to 20 times over the resting state. This greatly increases the generation of free radicals....
My god....the combat class tonite was full of hyper active and agitated pple.....including myself....It's always the most happening class for Thursday, we are in danger!!! Tml must eat at least 5 whole kiwi.... la la la la la
I rx my Australia itenary this afternoon.... 1) Singapore --> Sydney (1 March) 2) Sydney --> Adelaide 3) Adelaide --> Sydney 4) Sydney --> Canberra 5) Canberra --> Melbourne 6) Melbourne --> Singapore (11 March)
this is so sick....hopefully backup buddy can make it back by monday and i will be free from such misery.....for at least i can concentrate with my projects on hand......
I was discussing with livingstone on bathroom decor issues 2 nites ago.....recently there have been very nice shower heads in the market...those super duper big ones...i love those...here's a sample...they are pretty expensive though, 1 set cost abt $600, comes with 2 shower heads, the holder and some accessories... designer shower heads... u noe what is his response? me : nice hor?livingstone : cannot buy la...me : cannot let me dream dream meh?livingstone : heh heh, i'll spoil ur dreams..but..i will make ur dreams come true. chey...sweet talk.....
my house is crowded today, my nieces and nephew all reported present. heh hehthe first thing i did when i enter the house is to hug ah bee and wen, ryan boy upon seeing that yell and summon me over to the chair where he is standing ... and gave him a hug too...hahaha.... *so cute*i taught ryan boy a new pattern today...."ryan boy, fold ur legs..." haha, there he goes, he folded his legs jus like how one meditate. =) cute....do u noe that children as young as pri 1 has to start using the internet? wen has to submit her assignment via the net. Gosh, MOE assumes that every child owns a computer at home??? wen is pri 2 now, and she is very much into mathematics. She showed me her sums online, and omigod....it was tough....tougher than what i studied when i was younger.....those kind of apple, orange and pear sums.....haha, those were the days.... =pMy grandmother was discharged from the hospital 2 days ago, with the fact that she is 81 yrs old now, she can't perform the ballooning surgery to clear the blocked artery.... she complained of heart burn almost everyday, her children, especially my 2nd uncle and mother have been worrying non-stop and dropping by my grandmother's hse almost every day, twice and thrice a day sometimes.....fortunately all of us stay within the vicinity.....my grandaunt (my grandmother's younger sista) is equally sad with the pain my grandmother is experiencing ....... hai....I might not have been very close with my grandma, but she is the only grandparent i have now, and i definately want her to live longer..... she's someone im use to see every cny, every once in a while, the familiar old house in redhill.....the furniture orientation.....those are part of my childhood....tonite i peeled and share an orange with her, ... it was my first time sharing something with her after 25years.... she say "my granddaughter ask me to eat orange, i must eat lor".....ever since i admitted her to the hospital last Thursday, we have been much closer... i witness how my 2nd uncle serve his duty as a son and i truely respect him. He is one fillial son who makes his way to his mother's hse every night after work, boil water, change the tea for the buddha, clean the floor, rub my grandmother's aching back, prepare her medicine, make sure everything is ok, before he goes home to rest for the nite. for so many years, i've seen him doing this almost every night.....my grandmother is very fortunate to have this son.... =)seeing my grandmother lying on the bed feeling restless and helpless makes my heart pain too....hopefully she can survive this ordeal.....we have plans to give her a surprise for her birthday this yr....gonna have a party... =)btw backup buddy, my fate for next wk lies in ur hands, if u dun come back by Monday, I have to fly to Australia with the Sales team next wk......

i think my muscles are retarded....i worked out last nite after stopping for some wks, and i only feel the ache like 7pm tonite....*knock knock* are my muscles working??? i thought i could anticipate the pain this morning! $%&(~##^*^*(&I feel the bloody pain and sore during the chest and squat track tonite. gosh, i thought i was gonna split on the spot!! but, trust me guys, those pain is/are worth it! i got to push myself real hard to appreciate my time and effort going to the gym after work. heh heh...nathan wanted to pass me more projects today, my question to her, "do u think we are short handed?..." i dun mind multi-tasking, but at times i really do hope i can focus on 1 or 2 customers instead. That way, i can pay more attention to them and give them better quality product and service. Now that i need to handle both overseas and local projects, production, implementation and service, plus in-house testing ..... i think im better off transforming into a plate of banana split....halfway thru my local implementation, i might be summon to fly for the concurrent overseas assignment/project. By the time i come back, local customer would have think that their project has been delayed, havent got the correct personnel to handle their implementation, their follow-up wasnt done immediately.....blar blar blar.... the bottom line is .... who wants to clear somebody else's butts?...furthermore, my backup buddy is still in Taipei.....shitti-shit, he must be enjoying himself so much with the taipei-mei-mei after office hrs.... ~!#$%^&*(%nathan's reply to me is "when the projects are confirm, we will get more man-power, ... it's easier to get manpower then to get projects, let's concentrate on getting the projects confirm first." ... wat can i still say....I have now on hand: ITE, Innova JC, PDO(Oman) and India project.....Sakae sushi's might be coming up too.....can i ask for more limbs and brains or can i loan urs for the project period???
phew!! lucky i didnt agree to go India, otherwise i'll be VERY bz there for the next few days....my colleague is alrd there trying to setup, and becos she has no experience technically, she's in a lost and didnt noe how to setup the demo set for the exhibition, and.....unfortunately, the show starts today!....no demo to delegates...looks like they only have broachures to entertain the delegates until tml morning to try and setup again. IN-SHA-ALAH to them .... hee heebeen flying too often that im getting sick of it....i turned down india trip immediately when my colleague told me to go to India Embassy to do my Visa...heh heh....GIMME A BREAK!!!!I was bz making sure that ITE would be ready for the MOE demo tml....sweat man.....solve one problem, the other problem surface....or-mi-tor-for.....tml betta be good.....else i squeeze the system and shortern its life!!Finally made it back to the gym tonite. Gonna increase my frequency since i missed it for soooo many weeks.....guess im trying to go everyday except friday and sunday.....hopefully my determination is strong enuf....in-sha-alah...stayed for body balance tonite after body pump....my stamina dropped quite substantially for the pump class....so disappointed.....Gotta rebuild my stamina! body balance make me look like a fool with all the funny poses....hahaha, "reach out for the star..", "stretch for a crane pose", hahaha....during the warm down, when the instructor switch off the lights and madee us close our eyes and feel our senses, I swore i slept for 1 minute! hahahahhaa.....super shiok.....doreen reminded me abt her wedding this weekend....how can i forget?....mandai orchid garden huh......see ya....and congratulations once again....for a blissful marriage.... =) ....

managed to catch "Hide and Seek" at shaw plaza tonite. first time there, the seats were fabulous! good backrest...a good place for movie, cos there isnt much crowd most of the time.
Nice show, but it wasnt what i tot it to be...heh heh
had an extremely fun day at sean's hse this afternoon. There were only maggie, sean and me, but the atmosphere was as good as a 10 person crowd. We eat, tok and had a game of blackjack. Livingstone came later and became the overall winner. I like sean's hse, neat, cosy and clean. A nice place for a small couple life. way to go sean!!! =)

*yawn* so sleepy.... think i didnt slept well since i came back from china. the flight got delayed in xiamen, and we reached singapore after 10pm. got back to work early the next morning, last nite send my grandmother to clinic then to hospital, got home after 1am... this morning went straight to ITE college east to meet my colleague.... zzzzzzz.....weekend is here.....thank u sooo much....
china trip was fruitful cos i finally:- 1) witness the dirty toilets in the villages, 2) stepped into my own 'hometown' -- teochew 3) witness farm life 4) made new china frens 5) experienced a 'dog-extortion' exciting and dangerous adventure, 6) bought 50over CDS/DVDs 7) went for foot massage.... 8) bathe in a toilet that has not enuf water supply.... (haha) 9) AND FINALLY!!!....I GOT TO WITNESS REAL FIRECRACKERS!! =)
heh heh, firecrackers was really fun! it was so loud and it created a very cheerful atmosphere...xiao wei (driver) tied the firecrackers to his van and lighted it while he drove the van in hakka village....hahaha....a hyperactive and playful 26yrs old driver cum tour guide.... chen-long, our main tour guide is a young 24yrs old fresh grad from xiamen university. Over the past 7 days, we got along like frens and even went to xiao wei's hse to see how his family and him lead their lives in china.....all i can say is, i feel so lucky that im a singaporean....
we met a rude and rough village man on our way out of the hakka village in yong-ding. He insisted that we knocked his dog and demanded for compensation. something worth mentioning, after we accidentally hit the dog in the village, we continue our journey as xiao wei has saw that the dog is still moving, and we are not the main culprit, the truth is the car next to us hit the dog, the dog flew to our direction and got hit a 2nd time by our van. The village man tot we hit the dog, chase us with his car for 45mins. finally he caught up with us along a dark and deserted road. The first thing that he did was to snatch xiao wei's car keys! omigod, we are instantly stranded. All of us in the car are afraid that more villagers will come, what if it turned into a robbery? all our luggages are in the car. What if our driver got hit unconscious? how are we suppose to leave that place? Nobody dare to utter any sound unneccsarrily at that moment. Finally, when the police did not come after sometime, uncle decided to give in and handed REN500 (abt S$100) to the rude man. That's wea we got back our keys and drove back to the city. phew....toilet was terrible on our way to the villages. no doors, no drainage system, no flush, no paper. All we could see is a open long narrow drain with blood, urine and shit all over it.....omigod....that was really gross.....doreen and i gathered all the courage we had for the past 20 over yrs and ran into the toilet, finish our business and flew out of the toilet. hahaha, indeed, it was gross and disgusting....but it was really a good experience...hahahai think the best food i had there is in swatow (teochew) and hokkien (xiamen). Although it was oily and saltish, it was considered the best compared to hakka...heh heh....the yam paste in teochew was fantastic!! =) yum yum....shopping was exciting and fabulous in china too, although not as good as compared to shanghai....heh heh....still it was cheap-cheap-cheap....=) =) =)

gong xi gong xi, gong xi gong xi....
reunion dinner was crowded with kids. ah bee and wen were here, and it created more conversation, more laughter, more ambience. However, my sista's family did not get their time arrange properly, and ended up pressing for more time in obviously shorter time frame.
im wondering, how do u guys split the reunion dinner between ur own parents' family and in-law's family? Do u always practise having dinner in 2 sessions, one-after-another in the same day? or have the dinner in 2 seperate days? It's tough to please both parties, but if we can make it to only one, isnt it more sensible to politely rearrange the other one? and enjoy with the one u've chosen?, but of course make it up the next yr? I noe its tough to compromise, after all, how many old folks can understand youngsters' situation now?
hai, its suppose to be a happy festival, but sometimes.....it gets the reverse effect.
anyway, livingstone and i finally get to see CNY's fireworks together. we proceeded to marina south open area after dinner and boy there were sooooo many cars along the road. at 1130pm, there was a family who was playing wit those 'stick-fireworks' , they lighted up the sticks and threw it onto the patch of grass in front of them, not long after, a fire broke out! the fire spreaded and the whole road was covered with thick smoke. The family went back to their car, pretended that they were not responsible for that. I guess somebody called the police, and the fire engine squad arrived to put out the then small fire. hai,.....some inconsiderate pple....
gonna visit my ah ma soon.....yeah, can wear new clothes, on chinese NEW yr.....heh heh....today is a smiling day... =)

yah, finally back.
Been VERY bz since the day i touched down. Spring clean my room and omigod, my table is so dusty....eeeeek....wipe the whole house, and omigod again, bloody tired....now left changing of my mattress sheets, pillow cases....that will be the last thing before cny....after the reunion dinner....i wan clean nice sheets....to welcome the new yr! yeah!!!
heh heh =) had manicure and pedicure done at hollywood secrets on sunday, it was packed with women, girls and ladies,...and boyfriends. a small compound, but they have everything under 1 roof. wat a bloody good way to earn women's money....
also had an early loh-hei at 7th storey hotel with livingstone and family...food was good, ambience was good, company was good. CNY is still my favourite festival. Everybody gather together for a bowl of rice and simple dishes, all for the sake of reunion after a long yr of work. smiles light up the dinner. food fill our hungry stomachs and conversations build the bond. wat more can i ask for?
mum had food half prepared for cny since sunday. We had ngoh-hiong steam and prepared waiting to fry them tonite. yummy....i love my mummy's food. the thing i always tell her is, "do u noe u always spoil my diet plans??" im a big eater when i take my dinner at home. maggie and livingstone always had a shock with the amount of rice i usually take at home. well, that explains my build huh. =p
mum said we are gonna have many dishes tonite (although i prefer steamboat, but my mum dun like):. yu-sheng, curry, ngoh hiong, vege, chicken soup with abalone, hong-sau pork ribs, prawn fritters, fish, bee hoon ....wow...shit....my keyboard is wet.... hahaha....
mum has been complaining though....that she's bz preparing....that she went to the market many times, sometimes 3 trips in a morning....hahaha....but i noe she enjoys it....hopefully when she see how we appreciate her food, it will prove that every effort is well spent. We have 2 special guests tonite.....Ah Bee and Wen Wen...dun ask me why, i also dunno wea my brother will be going....but oops, i only bought enuf new chopsticks for the 6 of us.....
hmmm.... this is the first time livingstone is spending cny with me physically ever since he came back. we are going to either chinatown or marina bay to view the fireworks after dinner. it'll be a nite i have always anticipated....heh heh met up with monkey tan and miss chan last nite. tok until 12mn then move our butt home. wat a simple and quality nite spent with them. Happy wedding miss chan.......see ya on ur big day! =)
