Tones of Pink

a 4 yr old

i couldn't much recall what i had done when i was 4-years old.
i thought it was a young age to know what was going on around me, except for father, mother, siblings, kindergarthen, macdonald, playground, tv....... i guess its those simplest things in life...

i've seen a 4-yr old girl, who tells me that she misses her parents (her parents went away for some reason). She had tears in her eye when she tells me that.
I explained to her what is happening in her hse, and i hope she will understand.
She nodded her head, as in agreeing that she has to be sensible at this pt of time when i told her so.
she wiped her tears, and lied down on my bed to rest, while i take my shower.
When i am done, i found her alrd asleep, i cover her with a blanket,
and i saw a drop of tear still in her eyes, it hasn't trickled down her cheeks.

I knew she has suffered.

On another day, early in the morning, she woke up herself.
I heard her, but i was still lazy, and had snooze my alarm clock for another 5 mins.
she went out to the hall, i heard some mumblings. She did not on the lights.
I pulled myself up and went to the hall, there she was, kneeling before the altar,
"pls....pls...." she had tears in her eyes.
i asked her what she was doing, she said she was praying to god.
she wants god to help her parents, for otherwise her parents cannot come back.

It was clearer to me that she has suffered.
