it is his birthday,
we gave him a surprise,
with the help of his gf.
the plot:
Jean and him will go for their usual birthday dinner,
then, after dinner, jean will bring him to.... Hotel81 @ Kovan.
All of us will ambush in the toilet, for him to discover us.
and he is not suppose to suspect anything.... heh heh....
and, the plot was planned for 1 month wor...
all of us meetup at kovan for dinner at 7.30pm, before we chk in to the hotel to ambush. haha..
the menu:
standard is mediocre.
but service very slow.
total damage 110bucks for 8 pax.
I made him a card.
and there they were signing at the back of it.
i call it the birthday plate.

we hide inside the toilet for like 10mins, with complete human silence (we tried hard to....)with all our phone on silent.and with no lights.
can't even see my fingers!see peh kee so happy! haha,....
 the 3s in front of me.i am actually seated. on top of the toilet bowl. hee hee....
i think the guys perspire, bcos livingstone did.and me? i teared! haha, hide my laughter until i wept! LOL !finally they came up, jean retrieve the keys from the reception as planned.we expect them to recee the room by opening the toilet door,but hell no! they didnt!and we were caged inside for another few mins....even jean couldn't find us.haha...she sms me, 'where are u guys?''in the toilet' i saidshe came by, opened the toilet door and closed it agn. arghhhhhh hahahaWe sms her to ask him to go shower.he came, to the door, unbutton the first button of his jeans,dono why he so careful, he slowly opened the toilet door and peeped inside!haha, he saw us! and he closed the door back agn!! haha....to button up la!wahahhahahahahagot him a shock to see so many of us ambushed in the small toilet!lol.... wait till i upload the video into youtube. lol.there he was, unwrapping the birthday plate.
i sprayed the plate with black and gold.paste our names all over.and presented him voucher.
we sang him birthday songs quietly, as i promised the reception that we will be quiet.haha...
cheers to beng's birthday!!! hip hip hooray!!!see how full his glass is! lol.

I almost dono where to bring my mom for dinner,
then, i remember the bedok camp food centre.
So, there we were last Sunday.
this mee, is fabulously delicious. IMO.the queue is always long, but i say it is a must try if u are there.
 can give this a miss, unless u wanna try crispy fried oyster.these 2 comes from the same stall.
 this is a must try too, at $2 per bowl, my mom say its worth it.nice base, and expensive ingredient they added.i like.
brought mom to ice-cream gallery (jus opp the food centre) for their infamous D24 durian ice-cream.
yummy! really very nice!i tried their rum and raisin before, but still feel that the daily scoop wins.
it use to be the other way round i thought,but now, its mom eating the ice-cream, and i sat beside her watching.wat went wrong la?????

we bought some stuff from takashimaya's Best Denki.they are considered some house warming gifts from Daniel as well as Kravitz's family.

it was just an ad-hoc lunch appointment.after a while of not meeting up, there are definately many stuff to catch up upon.things happened unexpectedly, i gave her my listening ear, and hope i can share her worry.i almost cry with her...yet all i can do is to encourage her.good pple will be blessed. Rare trip.
6 mths one time.
I finally got the chance to cross that causeway. to contribute to the malaysia economy.
Sometimes i do hope that our fren there invites us more often, haha...
not that i donch like the shopping in our mainland.
but, the stuff there are really cheaper.
especially my fav store there, F.O.S & Vincci....
Im not the only one shopping this time,
Livingstone bought more stuff then me lo.
'Madam, every 100dollars entitle u to 1 flask, u have 5 flasks.'
we were laughing, the cashier is laughing, the customer behind us is also laughing.
we spent RM500 at F.O.S that afternoon.
and they are only left with the BLUE color flask!
so i now have all blue flask.
well done.
i promise to show u our harvest at the end of the post.
Everytime we visit our fren, there will be wonderful home cooked food,
this time, penang laksa and bo-bo-char-char.
couldn't have been betta.
the pineapple, the fish and the greens are for the laksa.
plus the prawn paste, really nice!
its my virgin try for penang laksa, and i finish the soup! or the asam gravy, watever u call it.
and the bbcc, nice. very nice.
this visit, the parents has an interesting exhibit for us.
haha....

and to buy groceries.

we visit them at Mt Alvernia at like 10pm. crazy.
but was so surprise that everybody is still in the ward, chatting and laughing away, we can even hear them at the corridor as we approach the room. haha...

Been a long time since Mom and I last had the chinatown claypot rice.
Especially now that they hv moved to the temporary holding market at Outram..
'must wait for 30mins, can or not?'

So, we need to hv appetiser,
The towkay roll the ah balling on the spot u noe...pretty interesting.the soup base is not nice, but the tang-yuan does taste good.Time to enjoy our claypot chicken rice.
 i wonder if its the change of location,somehow, the pot of rice taste different....
