Popiah marathon I (Prep work)
a mth ago, we had japan hour.
right after that, we were discussing what we will do next. :)
so, the TAN family decided, to make their signature dish, POPIAH.
My FIL gets very excited when the week draws nearer.
We made him in charge of getting the ingredients and tools....
i guess he finds the marketing fun.
then one nite, he commands, 'saturday want to eat, friday nite have to start prepare alrd....'
so?
there we were, friday nite, assembled at my in-law's hse for the prep work.
then we stayed over, so that we can con't to prepare on sat.
major project this time. :)
at the end of fri nite, this is wat we hv done.
7 cabbages, 15 carrots, numerous tortise bean and chili. all in the fridge.
more work to be done the next day.
(get ready for some muscle ache....)
