It was Edgar's 2nd Birthday. The thoughtful parents custom made a teddy bear cake for him, heard that it was inspired by a toy edgar had. =)
bbTara was rather tired that day, arrrr....now that i recalled, that morning, we went to good morning nanyang cafe before heading to edgar's hse! hur hur hur...shld hv lump them in the same post =pAnw, there were many unfamiliar faces, and bbTara kept clinging on to me, like a koala to a tree. Finally, when we left, she gave edgar gor gor a birthday hug....how sweet =)

OOOh, its been 365days since we met edgar.... heh heh...witnessing a bb growing in length, in wisdom, in totality is an amazing process.
Last Saturday, his parents threw a major birthday party for him at home, inviting abt 60 pple i supposed. There were adults, kids, couples, teenages, babies and preggies like me.... heh heh...crowded.though livingstone and I neva had such big party at home before, we or rather livingstone was glad to clear up for the host as most of their guests left for the nite. Judy was very bz cleaning up edgar, and making him sleep after a long celebration day....
As livingstone helped to clear up the hse, I was posing with bb ... hee...

Edgar is turning one next month, we decided to buy him an early birthday present.
The unwrapping process....look at his smile... :)
there he is continue to tear the wrapper.....he probably doesn't know what the objective is all about. how come when he tears the newspapers and story books, mommy scold, but that nite, we cheer him to tear, yet not one of us scolded him....haha....im sure we got him confused.
While we were posing for a foto with him and the gift, he turned back and stared... :)
The Stride to Ride Walker from Fisherprice rewards baby with lights, sounds and high-energy music. When toddlers are ready to ride, just move the Walker's legs together and lock in place for form a comfortable seat.
The objective is of cos to stimulate him to learn to walk. :)

Did you know there are bowling ball meant for kids?
Did you know there are bowling lanes meant for kids?
I don't.
the holes are just nice for 5 fingers and the ball is 5 pounds.and the kids' lane - the bumpers by the sides are released so that the balls rolled by the kids will hit the bumpers instead of going into the drain. Which means, no matter how the kid rolled the ball, the ball will hit bumper, to and fro, and finally reach the end to knock down the pins. haha...
here, the kids try to get hold of the ball. so cute.(this is at safra tampines.)and, since its x'mas, we got edgar another companion.
We actually didnt plan to get him any gift, bcos we figured this x'mas shld be meant for the less fortunate.....and edgar is a very blessed boy alrd. =)but, as we walking to the bowling centre from the car park, a group of kids took a basket full of toys, and told us to buy something, they are helping a kid to raise funds for her eye surgery.how to reject? at least we are getting something for a gd cause.... =)Labels: bowling, edgar, gift, kids, x'mas

A lazy weekend at my in law's house, where we get to play with our nephew,
my FIL just came back from Shanghai the other day with this super huge watch, and we decided to make him the spokesperson. heh heh....and u rem i mention lazy weekend?

We have a series of events this National Day.
Because it is a holiday, some of our frens planned some events, but we can only attend 2..
so it was my mom's birthday and edgar's full month party.
My mom can be quite easy to please, bring her to a place with good food,
note: 'good' is not in our perview, she is the only judge, if she says the food is nice, i am spared. if not, my head is at risk....
However, it is not easy to find her 'good' food, becos she is forever picky with food.
It was quite a few years ago since we went to Soup Restaurant, and co-incidentally, i had the same menu a few days back when my MIL and SILs came to suntec to find me for lunch, and i thought their standard had improved !! So i decided to try and bring my mom back there.
u won't miss this, their signature dish, samsui chicken.
now they even sell their ginger paste, in a bottle like kaya.
spring onion slice fish.
this toufu is good, soft!
broccoli is simply good too. soft and green.
this gravy was good too. oh yes, there was the soup of the day, but i forgot to take pic... hee hee... anyway, it was equally nice too.
the dessert.
the overall standard was really good this time.
my mom was chanting, 'last time no good, this time very good'
haha....

We brought mom for a show after the lunch.
 very nice hokkien local show! IMO, it truely reflects the local getai life. The story brings laughter, happiness and also tears to the audience. i cried myself too. very touching.And the song is really nice, refer to http://royston-tan.blogspot.com/# to listen to the background theme song.
My mom was also invited to edgar's full month party, so we went after the show.
