Day trip to Kutná Hora

Have you heard of this place?
I did, I had rx pictures via email about this skeleton church, but I have never imagine myself stepping into it.

So, since we are in Czech, we might as well make a trip there!
Suppose to go there early, but we got stuck, and you know why? We got caught for not buying a ticket at the train station. arghhhhh...
People, if you are travelling in Prague, at Staromesky station, pls purchase tickets, the inspector will stand behind the pillars and wait to inspect u. BUY TICKETS IN CZECH!
Anyway, we negotiated with the inspector, and we got away with just SGD70 of fine, instead of SGD140. And of cos we didnt get the reciept la. The inspector pocketed the fine lo.

And so, we continued our journey to the The Sedlec Ossuary (kostnice Sedlec) a small Christian chapel, located beneath the Church of All Saints (Hřbitovní kostel Všech Svatých) in Sedlec, a suburb of Kutná Hora in the Czech Republic.

We took a train to Florence, passed the underpass to find the eurolines tickets office (Autobusove NAdrazi) and approach the ticket counter to buy the bus-ticket Kutna Hora (1hr 15mins journey). It is the last stop. And to go to the church, transfer to bus 1B.

Here I am, pretending to be asleep....while waiting for our bus.

Entrace to the church, on the floor.

The Church entrance.....eerie...

The ossuary of the "Bone Church," as it is popularly known, contains approximately 40,000 human skeletons which have been artistically arranged to form decorations and furnishings for the chapel.

The angel....

The cup....

The chandelier....

The exterior of the church.

After the tour of the church, we left to explore the small town.

i rem seeing this in Germany. It actually meant this place is blessed by the three kings in 2008.
