From Wien to Budapest

Time to leave Wien, and embark on our next destination, which is also our last stop (yeah! my backlogs are coming to an end soon ya, haha....)
Of the few days in Wien, the weather has been quite harsh and cold, minus11, minus10 and so on...
Just when we have checked out from our accomodation, and going to catch a bus to the train station, we felt 'HOT'. no more cold winds! idiot.
Livingstone cannot tahan, so he strip on the street. lol.

Bicycles for rental at the main street....self-service.

Remember pictures like this we always see in our email?

beautiful blue sky, i love most.

all geared up to go to the train station.

Gonna catch our train to Budapest, Hungary.

The train station in Wien.

Our train compartment (to ourselves, yeah!!).

As usual, he will read up again before reaching our destination.... =)

After a few hours, we reached Budapest train station. It was rowdy, dark(ok, not so bright) and crowded.

I have the kind of feeling that we were being aimed and targetted. Like anytime we would be kidnapped or robbed. lol.

We are staying in a Hotel again this time (Hotel Charles). Price factor concludes our decision - this is the cheapest accomodation for our trip. Budapest is seperated into two zones, the Buda and the Pest. Pest is where the town begins, and buda is the hilly side, they are seperated by a bridge across the Danube river. And this hotel is at buda. The best part is, it comes with free wireless in our room.... hee....

The rooms are really spacious, with attached kitchenette and bathroom, just like a service apartment. And staff are friendly and helpful.

And an area for meals.... hee....not the luxurious kind. but i find it down to earth and homely. =)
