I am one year wiser, and WE have spent one year living together. =)
though we have to spend this day in the hospital, but I count my blessings that mom is able to walk on the second day of her operation, and i have my loved ones spending the day with me anyway. =)

I woke up early and went to the hospital on my own.
It is a holiday, so I let livingstone sleep in late.
but i also assign him tasks la,.... hee...
i ask him to help me with some housework before he go to the hospital in the afternoon.
Thanks to him, he had my floor cleaned, my washing machine cleaned, my clothes kept and folded... =)

not wanting to stay in the ward, we pushed my mom down to the cafe...and i had my cake from my sista and ryan.

* cannot find lighter in the hospital leh.... =p

We left the hospital for dinner at abt 8pm, was discussing what to eat, and we ended up in AMK, Jack's Place.

Photobucket

the dinner was cosy, and entertaining with ryan's nonsense, haha...

i tell him, 'ryan boy, u see ur teeth! so brown!! u look at mine!',
and i showed him my teeth proudly, then he looked at it, and said 'eee, so yallow'
ha ha ha ha....
ok, that's why i have pearlie white in my bathroom.

and when we reached home, the flowers on our dining table was a surprise! =)
flowers
thanks darling, =)

Happy Aniversary!! and to myself, Happy Birthday... !

*I just got to know that my neighbours (mabel and huiming), as well as adoh and steven came to our hse (seperately), wanting to give me a birthday surprise, only to find that we were not at home!
gosh! im so sorry, u guys are angels!! i'll make it up! =)

Been a long time since i prepare dinner for just the two of us.
chicken
steamed for 2+ hrs, the emperor herbal chicken came out hot hot from the stove,
tender, juicy and mmmmmmmmm, so fragrant....
oops. i dun normally praise my own prepared food la,
but this was really something i like. =)
vege
I used to always prepare at least 2 dishes and 1 soup, but think i hv to cut down on our diet,

too much good food, resulting in too much fats multiplied on our body.
time to cut down.
seah
for mabel, who asked what spices i used, it was simple,
buy this pack from the supermarket, rub the provided spices on the whole chicken,
wrap the chicken in the provided foil, and steam for 2+hrs.
viola! that was wat i did, for a good meal for 2.
simple, and no fuss. =)

daniel is livingstone's fren, and jeff is my fren, daniel becomes jeff's colleague now. And they hv alrd discovered the connection since our wedding last yr.... haha....how fun.. :)

after the solemnization, we hurried to the lobby to meet james, our G.O.D haha....

so nice to see him agn at the same spot! he is as cocky as before. wahahahaha...

It is wonderful to have attended their wedding overseas. :)

Our 5th Year

Saturday, March 24, 2007

five years ago, livngstone and i decided to take a walk together,
and we walked back to commonwealth from bugis junction.
(give us a round of applause, will u?)
On the same day, we decided to walk together even longer.
that was five years ago.

We neva fail to celebrate this day.
it is Our day.
We us to go out to restaurants for a good dinner.
but this time, its totally different.
We are planning a celebration dinner, at our love nest.
food doesn't really matter that much tonite. :)
so, I decided on KFC. long time no have. :)

When i opened the door back at home,
I was greeted with big lily-look-alike flowers, rite on our dining table.
*satisfaction sigh+satisfaction smile*
have it not tat we have our own hse, this will not come true right before my eyes. :)

It was also a long time since i last expected a surprise from him.
flower
packaged with a card. lovely.

it was our tradition to give each other this series of cards. we like. it jus melts our hearts when we rx them across the countries, while livingstone was still in UK back then.
card
indeed, this is a very special card.

no signs of happy aninversary, or whatsoever.
'thank you' the card says.
nah, not that i will share with u what is written inside.
but it was indeed very touching and 101% significant. :)
kfc
do we still think the food is impt?

haha...we'll decide :)

A sunday on our own.

U see, usually, we spend our sundays with my family.
but today, we didnt.
ryan boy was sick. so we have the sunday to ourselves.
its good.....once in a while. :)

so we decided to head for mustafa !!!
haha...
not the best place to go on a sunday night actually.
but really, i feel like im in a foreign land when we were there.
very crowded. with indians.
I took a turn around us, and realise we were the only chinese on the street, well, minus away the chinese in the stores working.
there were no other colors except for ...... black.....the indian color.
No play colors.
mustafa
but i have to say that mustafa is an excellent place.
u get anything, everything there, right there in the mall!
ya, its amazing.
they even have their own supermarket! selling their own indian stuff. that u can't find in normal NTUC.
i have been to mustafa before, but this time i discover more. :)
table
not enuf of indian?
haha....we went to jln kayu for prata straight after mustafa!
